EPA Lead RRP documents & important info

Georgia now has ‘authority’ over the Lead RRP ruling and some new rules apply. Georgia is now considered an 'Authorized' state.Go to the websites below for Georgia Firm Certification and Georgia Renovator Application. 

Taking the EPA Lead RRP class and passing the test does award you as an EPA Lead ‘Certified Renovator’, however, when working in Georgia, you must now ALSO fill out the ‘Georgia Renovator Application’ and the company must fill out the ‘Georgia Firm Application’. 

There are also other states that have their own 'rules' so if working in other states make sure to check and see. The term you are looking for is to see if they are an 'Authorized' state.
