Mold Remediation & Fire Restoration

Media blasting is the ideal solution for use on mold remediation projects as well as fire restoration jobs. Highlights will include 'hands-on' demonstrations with the latest technologies. Dry ice, baking soda, and other blast media will be explored in the classroom setting and in the our demo area.
Specific topics will include:
- Hands-on blasting with baking soda and dry ice showing 'side by side' applications
- Applications for media blasting on mold & fire restoration jobs
- Equipment specifications and considerations, including air compressors
- Estimating and quoting blasting jobs
- Personal protective equipment, safety issues, and contractor liabilities
- Techniques for process containment and clean-up
- Proper techniques for media blasting job execution
- Blast media and their characteristics
Hands-on training in media blasting class
Media blasting used in fire damage restoration
